The Legend of the St. Bernard Keg
Saint Bernard’s amazing abilities to sense avalanches, locate stranded travelers, and sniff out people buried in the snow inspired monks in the Swiss Alps to send out packs of two or three dogs to seek out stranded travelers. When the St. Bernards would locate and dig a person out, one dog would lie on top of the person and the others would go for help. This is where those barrels of whiskey would come in handy to warm the stranded person and help ward of the freezing temperatures while they waited for help to arrive.

Unlike some of the other places you will find dog kegs, ours are made to last. Made in the USA from fresh white oak wood, our kegs come compete with sturdy brass bands and a high gloss finish.
You may find less expensive kegs online but they are inferior quality, do not come with a display stand, and are varnished with a water based lacquer which washes off the first time you cure the keg. Our kegs are varnished with an oil based lacquer which provides a long lasting beautiful barrel for years to come.

Our barrels hold and pour liquid! Fill yours with wine, beer, brandy, whiskey or other spirits. All kegs include a spigot, cork and wooden stand to display as a decoration in your home.
